Mounted a Leupold 4.5x14 with Talley rings and bases that came with the rifle. Loaded up some VV N-133 and 52 grain Berger Target to shoot on Sunday. Could you expound on the pistol grip cap - one of your great photos shows what looks like an ivory colored inlay inside that metal grip cap?

I had ordered a Dakota Varmint .22 PPC in the Spring of 2020 and made a down payment, 3-4 months later Dakota went belly-up that summer. Parkwest sent me an e-mail in January 2022 wanting to know if I was still interested in the Varmint rifle I had ordered from Dakota. Their wood stock and as far as who made the barrel, I don't know. Just my SWAG it was made at their shop.
