Just had an update from the grandson…..

Nothing yet, but they’re still at it, sitting over an acorn bonanza.

Not in VA (anymore) but this is the youth deer weekend in Indiana too. We hunted morning and evening but the deer seem to have received the memo. None to be seen. Here is a picture of the Great American Youth Hunter practicing his craft

Thanks guys! He's a great kid and I am very proud of him. This was his last year he could do the youth weekend and he was sick most of the week leading up and we didn't think he'd get to go. He cleaned and skinned the deer as well. They grow up waaayyyyy too fast!

This seems like last year.
