Yeah, they were certainly responsive. They had a new buttstock delivered to me in 4 days. Much nicer finish but metal is still very slightly proud, but not enough for me to warrant sending the whole rifle in. (which they offered if I wasn't happy) It's a cool little rifle that balances at the front of the receiver with the Hybrid screwed on. Fired it with Remington 405 gr soft point ammo and it's very tolerable recoil wise. They were okay without hearing protection but are supersonic and have a pretty loud crack. Waiting on Hornady Sub-X bullets to load some subsonics

i am still hoping Ruger starts building the 39A Marlin lever again in a 22 LR .

Is my old rememberer bad or doesn't the bullseye signify walnut stocks?
