Drove up to Dubois WY this morning for breakfast at the Cowboy Cafe, a distance of about 70 miles. Half the distance was trapped behind grandpa and grandma in their huge motor home and towing their jeep , never got over 50- 60 MPH on a 70MPH highway. Traffic backed up 6 -8 vehicles behind them, they never did pull over .

Lovely Bride and I will be making our annual pilgrimage to Yuma in about a month, we drive I-15 all the way through Utah towing a trailer. If you are not doing 80 on that road you are getting run over. It's bumper to bumper 18-wheelers, some of those guys are plumb terrifying. Also the 120 miles of the Wasatch Front through SLC, people there are convinced they are going to heaven, they drive with no fear of death.

I'm just glad most of my driving now is east and west, not north and south.

Heard some sandhill cranes this evening. Too high though for a visual.

Yep, and don't forget the Virgin River Gorge on I15 south of St. George. Also, drug busts a daily occurrence, cars coming from Vegas and California.

When I head to Phoenix, I leave very early to miss the Vegas traffic and then sweet sailing down US93. Fillup at Maverick in Kingman, and have fresh cooked breakfast quesadilla or burrito made by the two gals in the kitchen.

Do they drive in a "V" formation?
