Not going to comment of the "D", I think their historians need a copy of David's and Rory's books. Although it is pretty. I give them a lot of credit on the pricing of the rifle with the compass. Almost half of what the other rifles asking prices. Now a days they usually say a compass was a super rare option demanding extra value.

I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

I'll comment.
If you are going to play the dealer game you better know your facts. stating made up errors tends to bring everything else about the gun into question. there are many knowledgeable collectors that have great details and info on these modified rifles. It is not a RCMP as we know, rather a montreal home guard modified rifle ! yes I said modified rifle not musket as this is what the factory refered them as. we also know that is not what the numbers mean on the buttplate but instead a inventory number. it's nice to see the sight hood still intact however the sling is missing. I would disagree on the percentage of blue as well, the fine swirls on the left side frame from some brilliant person cleaning the metal with an abrasive pad of some sorts will lend fact to that.

On the book thing, my thoughts exactly. I thought about calling him but it's just not worth the trouble. You call him Rory.
