I found a spare scope in my gun room. It is a 3x9, no AO. One inch tube, 40mm objective. #E3940B Is this. 3200 or 4200? Just says Elite rainguard etc. No model name. What’s a like new one worth?

According to the # you gave, that is an Elite 3500 with the DOA 600 reticle. Is that what reticle it has?

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

That is the scope. I recall I bought it for a encore muzzle loader, but found a 4-14X 4200 with AO instead.

I bought a 4200 3-9x40 off the fire classified years ago. New in box. I tossed it in my bag as a spare to haul around on my trips. I finally took it out and mounted it on my encore ML. Seems to be a really nice scope. Mine says made in Japan on it.

What’s a like new one worth? Just for reference there's an e-Bay seller who has nearly the same scope except 50mm (39 50B) for $175. I've never bought one but had the listing in my watchlist for a long time. Seems that the seller has piles of them. Bushnell 35-3950B

I've got a "fleet" of loaner rifles for grandkids, kids' hunting programs, etc. I've got (2) 4200s & (5) 3200's and never had a problem or issue with any of them. Their optical quality is under-appreciated IMO.
