the various incarnations of "A Christmas Carol" Channel flipping last year, Came across a version of Christmas Carol. Kinda creppy. Musta be the R rated version. Scrooge was gonna get up in Bob Cratchits wives guts to pay for the dinner. Or something. Butt naked.

For me, it's probably "Zulu" or "Tombstone", or maybe "Patton", but it's really hard to guess. If not those, then maybe something like "Big Jake".
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.

The 1951 version of A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim.
Been watching that almost every year since I was a kid. It's always on Christmas Eve in Canada.

Blazing Saddles and Slap Shot for comedies. Although not strictly movies, The Pacific and Band of Brothers. Newman said that Slapshot was the most fun of any movie he ever made. Another vote for Band of Brothers. I've got the whole DVD set. The Pacific was excellent also, but I've only seen it one time when it was originally aired.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, followed by No Country for Old Men.
For those who like the first they should listen to the music as played by, I believe, the Danish Philharmonic Orchestra.
