Great one Roger. Can’t believe I forgot that one. Makes me feel old, though, when I watch it now, thinking ba how long ago HS in the late 70’s was. 😬
Great soundtrack, too.

Ride With The Devil was one of Ethan Edwards' favorite movies. So much so that he sent me a copy. Then, a year later, he forgot that he had already sent me a copy, and he sent me another copy, LOL. I have two DVDs of it from him sending them to me.
I liked it, but not as much as Ethan did, I guess. Apparently, it was near the top of his list.
PS He also sent me the DVD of Outlaw Jose Wales. He didn't realize I already had a copy, so now I have two.

Lots of great movies mentioned. Surprised no one has listed It's a Wonderful Life or The Princess Bride. I do like those 2. Not sure what movie I have watched the most though. Once Upon a Time is a strong possibility but my favorite is To Kill a Mockingbird.

One time we were all watching it and I had paused it at the ralphie's mom scene, and we were all hootin and hollorin and the wifes came in to see what was going on. BUSTED oh man they were not happy about that at all I mean they all knew that scene was in the movie but to have it paused there, I ended up sleeping exactly where I watched the movie at the scene of the crime.LOL
RUMs are like woman in Stiletto heals, you know they are going to put you in the poor house, but that has never stopped anyone from pursuing them.
Don't like to watch a movie many times, get bored. Don't often watch movies, something about committing to sit and watch for hours. The ones I've seen a bunch are never watched from beginning to end, it's on tv and I watch.
Christmas story is probably #1. Just because it'll be on all day. Joe Dirt is likely #2.
Never saw Slap Shot, didn't even look at the clip until someone mentioned Johnstown. Went back and watched just to see the local footage.
They filming date stood out, a year later and they could have witnessed history. A foot of rain came down in 24 hours. Dams failed(again). Johnstown flooded badly, and fatally, again.
We lived 30 miles away, overnight the crick got to our house and gave us 4 feet of water and mud in the basement. Mom was overwhelmed, I was an 8 year old sent to Pap's to get rid of me for the cleanup.
Guess Mom was so upset, Dad decided she needed a wakeup call. Once the basement was cleaned, (several days work) Mom got loaded into the car and taken to tour Johnstown. I'll never forget their description of the carnage when they stopped at Pap's to pick me up.
