Took my antelope buck 2 days ago with my Savage Switchback 6mm ARC. Not a Grendel but close nuff I guess.

Took my antelope buck 2 days ago with my Savage Switchback 6mm ARC. Not a Grendel but close nuff I guess. How does the switchback shoot? I have a friend that bought one in 6.5 PRC and it went back to Savage recently.

Took my antelope buck 2 days ago with my Savage Switchback 6mm ARC. Not a Grendel but close nuff I guess. How does the switchback shoot? I have a friend that bought one in 6.5 PRC and it went back to Savage recently. Stock on them flimsy as ph uck, and magazine suck.. but I only taking mine to the range couple of times. I forgot to add the flimsy stock easy fix, I’m just lazy and lost interest in the rifle lol.. maybe this winter I will stiffen up the stock

Both 108 ELDM factory and 101 Hammer hunters loads Glad it’s a shooter. There is one sitting at the Sportsman’s here in 6 ARC. I just like the Howa Mini’s better. I really like them when they put the Oregon Gunsmith bottom metal and stock on them.

I’ve killed several pigs now with mine and really like it. First kills we’re with 123 hornady black factory match ammo. The rest were with 123 SST and AA2230. Results looked the same. Full penetration with big exits and nice blood trail, except for one massive boar that stopped a 123 SST in his head from about 30 yards.
