Put a switch on the plug that runs the door opener, shut it off at night. That’s what I did after the wife’s ex would bring the kids by to get stuff. Also an extra layer of security if someone broke into my work van that sits outside. We also leave the driveway lights on and make sure it’s parked in the driveway. Good luck

You have too much stuff. I recommend a stuff-ectomy.
Seriously, why do you have a garage door opener in a truck you don’t park in the garage?

Park the fancy-smancy truck in the garage and some old POS without the bells and whistles outside..... The POS vehicles in the garage are wife’s newer Tahoe and my Z06 corvette. But thanks for the advice.

Duke 15...
A great security measure...
If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

Just use the slider to ‘lock’ the garage door. It disables opening and closing with both the indoor button and remote. I’m kind of surprised that this is news to anyone but am glad it is non your radar. It’s possibly the easiest way someone can gain unauthorized access to your house.

I put my old 2005 cheve in the driveway. Problem is sometimes it don't start because it is too cold. Then I have to move it so I can get out of the garage.
