Ain’t me I been digging a new access for Canyonero picuploadOut West, you dig down that deep your gonna run into caliche (hard pan) or volcanic rock. Maybe granite in some place, but around here it's volcanic. Must be nice being able to cut through that with a little tractor.

26” gar at Fishcamp USA Good lord! Don't let the yuppies in this area see a damned gar ! Not long ago, gar of any kind around here were no size or posession limit, and no restrictions on means or methods. Now days they're revered more so than an infant child. Lots of these yuppies here will pay more for a guided gar fishing catch and release trip than a weekend at the Bunny Ranch
