If anybody stumbles across a couple/three boxes of .338WM... please drop me a PM.

Trying to help out a fella.

Thanks.

That 6.5x55 deal is AMAZING!

Ordered five boxes. Should hold me for awhile.

Yep.

Too good to pass up.

140 gr. NP's, at SE velocity, and Norma quality load and brass.

I went back and checked my range notes for the Norma 140gr. Partition ammo. Using a Pact chrono at 12ft. that load went 2671 fps. The listed velocity on the box is 2690 fps. I got 3/4 inch groups. These were shot through my T3.

I bought two cases and I'm trying hard to talk myself out of buying another one.

Should put it at or over spec from a 24" Bbl.

Thanks.

Just for the heck of it, I checked the Nosler load data.

https://www.nosler.com/65-55-swedish-mauser

Seem like the Norma ammo is loaded to a decently strong load level.

Norma - loads to the C.I.P. 55K PSI, unlike the pathetic American (SAAMI) 51K PSI.

Results in ~ an extra 150 fps, and puts it on par w/ the 6.5 CM.

And if Norma uses their own load tables?

... could be 47.4 grns. of MRP.

This stuff is "the Song of the Sirens" at $24.50/20 box.

Been lookin' for quite a while for a good "SE" field load...

This one looks to be outstanding.

Here it is, albeit dressed in short pants (CM), Point Blank range and 400 Yds.:

Received my order of 4 boxes today. Dang good-looking ammo.

FTR I ordered from Rivertown Munitions Same price and SKU#but the shipping was 4.00 less than Ammo shop.

Rivertown also had several varieties of that bastard child 6.5 (Creedmoor) if anyone is looking. Decent pricing also.

Norma stuff is traditionally more expensive than domestic.

Interesting that they are often the cheapest ammo in an Ammo Seek
search now.

Simple, supply greater than demand. If it's a conspiracy to lower ammo prices I'm all for it!

1. Norma - has dumped their American bullet lines, like this 6.5x55 SE Partition load, so it's showing up at liquidation prices.
2. The Bi-Duh Democrat National Socialist/Communist Coup Regime is not running the Swedish Economy, so Norma's competitively priced field ammo... is.

Just our bullets.

Think they are using all Norma bullets now.

These older Nosler lines for sure are gone.

At current component prices I'm not sure you could hand load cheaper than these...

Yea, this is kind of what I was getting at... much as it's nice to be able to reload during shortages and panics, every once in a while the factory ammo just makes more financial sense.

with components that I bought under the Trump Administration....

I CAN load it cheaper than I can buy, regardless of pricing from most sources.
