Fellows, I just picked up a pound of RE17 and RE19. I'm wondering if anyone uses the 17 for 22-250 Remington with 53 to 55 grain bullets? Alliant doesn't have it listed. Thank you in advance for your time and help. Semper Fi Soup

use 4350 data and you'll be in the ball park...
hard to over pressurize a 22.250 with 4350 and those bullet weights...
should be the same for RL 17... but you won't get max velocity unless you are using 75 to 80 grain bullets.

right now one has to use the powder they have or can get....
with those bullet weights I tend to use H 322 and Benchmark, for combination of best accuracy and velocity....
and a 53 vmax is a very flat shooting bullet.

The latest Sierra manual has R17 data for 52, 53 and 55 grain bullets.
