Spurs are annoying....said the horse. They really are, which I why I have a dedicated pair of boots just for spurs. I wear my regular boots and switch out when we get to the pasture and then back to the pickup. Extra weight, extra chit getting in the way... My one and only pair, complete with hand cut buffalo nickels for rowls. Not my thing, but have had friends, acquaintances and a few family members that were horse and/or rodeo people and that may be a worse addiction than guns! I do respect a nice set of spurs for being a work of art. I hope the OP finds a wonderful set.
