I’m needing help in finding a reputable guide for my family to travel and shoot doves possibly ducks.
I’m looking at Argentina but open to other safe countries that offer the fast paced daily shooting I’ve had friends enjoy.
This is for 2023, could add other species if the seasons overlap.
Appreciate any leads, safety first concern as my 2 children in their 20’s will be joining me, son & daughter.

Juan runs a good show reasonably priced. You can combo shooting with some Dorado fishing.

I've been on excellent shoots in Argentina on two different trips, but in 2014 went to South Africa on an all-bird shoot. It was at LEAST as good as Argentina. There's a wider variety of doves/pigeons in the same huge numbers, along with a far wider variety of quail- and grouse-like upland birds, up to 3-pound guinea fowl. There were so many guineas that we hunted them drives much like a cross between British pheasant shoots and Midwestern U.S. field hunts.

We were there at the tail end of waterfowl season, and there weren't as many ducks and geese as there are during the peak of the season in RSA (or Argentina) but its easily possible to arrange the hunt's timing to include both upland birds and waterfowl.

The outfitting/guide service was:
Grasslands Safaris
Brandfort 9400
South Africa
+27 83 300 5433
grassland.co.za

They also have a Facebook page. The accommodations and food were equal to Argentina, which means excellent.

Thank you gentlemen, I’ve had Argentina as a bucket list destination for quite a while. A chance to hear the Red Stag rut is a big draw as well.
Your input is appreciated, I’m hopeful the USD strength will be a bonus in pricing.

Have generally found the South African Pinotage to be at least equal to the Argentine Malbec! Look for both when wine-shopping here....
