My 98 Ranger has 120k. Great little truck. Wife calls it a "hobby truck".

I looked on Youtube...holee schidt...caveat emptor. Looks like scan-tool is about the only way to tell. Or buy from geezer gramps, one owner.

So it's within hitchhiking distance? LOL

Yeah, that hitchhiking works, but gets either mighty hot in summer, or mighty cold in winter.

Much better takin' the 85 Nissan sedan.

Geno, As much as you like to drive in the creek, I'm surprised you don't have an amphibious of some sort.

My 2014 2500HD just rolled 50K, and I am the original owner. They are out there, check for service records etc. Some can be pure BS and a scam, but there ones with very low mileage. I would guess a good inspection one could tell pretty easy if things all add up.

uhh ok

What a dumbass.

He failed vertical distance in school... wink

Now if he was talking West Texas, and said it's a bunch of miles between towns and to get somewhere from anywhere, I'd have bought that. grin

I "know someone", ahem..... that rented a uhaul once and unplugged the speed sensor so that the mileage wouldn't add up while in use. It shifted harsh in default mode and "the person" had to disconnect the battery for a bit to make the check engine light go out shortly before returning it and after plugging the sensor back in but it worked. Long time ago.

Bought my used 2003 Chevy Tracker 4x4 SUV in 2010 with 53k miles on it -- just rolled over 100k miles a few months ago.

Bought our 2018 Jeep Renegade Latitude in early 2020 with a little over 18k miles on it -- still hasn't hit 20k yet.

The Chevy Tracker was a repo out of Eastern KY, called and talked with the folks it got repoed from before I bought it.

Jeep Renegade was originally titled as a corporate lease vehicle in Wyoming prior to us buying it.

I have considered finding a low mileage Amphicar many times.

Always keep a fishin' pole in the back seat with a good slow trolling lure attached. Maybe catch dinner.

My wife's 2000 Mustang has an honest 80k miles on it. She got it brand new just before we started dating. Still pretty cherry considering it's age.

You should get you a used truck from the AK North Slope, high engine hours and low miles on many of them as they never turn them off at certain times of the year.

Well if you hunt and fish, ride snow mobile, sxs out west in multiple states and in Canada pretty easy to put 30 k on a year. That is if you actually get out and hunt and fish and do things. I put over 5 k just bird hunting with dogs every year

one day a week trips to dollar general and Walmart or the stock trout and cat fish pond in the holler don't add to much mileage

It is very, very simple to mess around with the milage on modern vehicles. Cash is King had the right idea with the key turns, but those can be faked too. If you can tune a modern vehicle, you can mess with the mileage.

I ain’t like a gazillion other dumbfukks that run up miles on their pickups going to the county fair to eat cotton candy or Taco bell runs, driving to pottery classes at night.

My truck is for big, or serious biz usually pulling a trailer.

Bought a 2000 Chev extended cab 4x4 on 9/11/2003 with 32000 miles on it, sold it in Feb 2021 with 77000 miles on it.

Bought a new 2006 Chev Trail Blazer 4x4 in Aug 2006 and still have it with 111000 miles on it.

Wife drove the TB to work about 40 miles daily until 2013.

Low(er) mileage vehicles are out there, you just have to be in the right place at the right time.

Fish camp is only 12 miles from the house.

Deer are AT the house.

So you got me there.

My wife works from home.

We rarely travel.

2011 Explorer with around 32k miles.

It sits so much that I replace the battery every 2 years. Replaced the tires when they were only halfway wore out...

You have to be careful buying used tractors, try and make sure the hour meter hasn't been replaced at some point.
