My oldest son, along with his girlfriend, and my second oldest son all came down to visit over the weekend. None of them had ever caught a tiger trout before. I was hoping the fishing gods would smile on us. They did and we had a great time. Let's just say all the smiles are genuine and real. Time spent with family is the best time in my life. My second oldest son got things rolling by catching this beautiful tiger at first light in the morning. ![[Linked Image from i.ibb.co]](https://i.ibb.co/YZRY4CW/Brandon-Adams-10-822-A.jpg) My oldest son's girlfriend got off to a slow start, but eventually found her groove and darn near out fished us all. I love it when she smiles because it's from head to to. blairvt, they are available in a number of western states like Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada. I know they are in some eastern states as well, but I'm not sure which one's. Somebody with more knowledge of trout east of the Mississippi will have to help out with that.

I made a few attempts to catch one this past summer without success at Center Lake in Custer State Park...this makes me want to go back and try harder!

There is a bit of a learning curve when trying to catch tiger trout. They don't really act like other trout, browns are probably the closest in behavior.
