Yeah, dogs are also just fetching or sniffing machines to me as well, I never get attached to them either. <sarcasm off>

I think I recall a picture of one of your Llewellins (I think the name might have been Rocky) looking adoringly up at a young boy (who might have had some kind of grouse or partridge in his hand)

It was a beautiful picture - and a beautiful dog!

Could you post it again? I had no luck searching for it.

One is asleep next to the air conditioner, one under the ceiling fan, and the other on the ground at my feet. They look like they are asleep but if I even think of moving they are at attention before I can even stand up.

Woodcock season opens the 24th so it is close to go time and I think they know it.

One is sitting on my leg, looking out the window. The other is at the end of the same couch, curled in a ball...

Three weeks ago, waiting for me to flush a gopher with the garden hose. Hopefully in a better place, had to put him down today due to cancer. He was one of the great ones![Linked Image from i.imgur.com]

Mine went back to bed. He doesn't know we're going bird hunting today. Thinks I'm off to work.

Up in bed with my wife sleeping in. 2 Chocolate Labs. They wait for me to get up (early riser) then jump up and replace me.

Frolicking around the kitchen/living area with a chew toy. She’s 1 y/o now and makes a general nuisance of herself to the 11 y/o dog. She’s the most challenging Lab I’ve worked with so far. Everything’s a process with this dog. Lucky thing for her that she’s cute! 😁
