OP KillerBee Campfire Regular Joined: Sep 2022 Posts: 1,704 Alberta	My wife with her 32" Alberta River Walleye. I hooked the fish and handed her the rod, big mistake hahaha My LR scope is a Huskemaw Blue Diamond 5-20x50. It's awesome. The USA, is our last chance at freedom. God Bless America ~

If it was a typical Walleye like the ones you catch in lakes it would have been really fat and at 32" would have probably weighed over 13 lbs. My LR scope is a Huskemaw Blue Diamond 5-20x50. How long after the ice broke up? They usually spawn a few weeks after. Could be skinny because she’s spawned out.

I am thinking that River Walleye have a more stream lined profile compared to Lake Walleye since that are always swimming against fast currents? The North Saskatchewan River is a very fast river, especially in the spring with the snow melt from the Rockies? The fishing for Lake Sturgeon is exceptional as well.
