This morning. Out in the hay meadow. Nice fat 5x4. No cows this morning. They were all waaaaay up on north end. Glassed them and watched them. Believe I know where they went. I will try here in a little while to see if I can connect with one.

Nice! Congratulations to both of you!
Would love to see a picture of that rifle. Many have been sporterized back in the day. Grinding down those rabbit ears was the start to slimming down the action. I had one many years ago. It was made by Winchester.

My favorite hunting rifle is my BSA Sporterized 1917 in .30-06, gotta love hunting with a hundred plus-year-old rifle that is deadly accurate and drops critters in their tracks hey?
