I have several lbs of it and and several different rifles. What is your favorite use for H4831 and with what bullets?

My 22-250 loves it with heavy bullets like the 73 eldm and 77 tmk. It’s not quite as fast as say H4350 but way more accurate.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.
Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

I know you can't get enough of it in an 06 case to exceed Saami SPECS, regardless of bullet weight...
even if you need to crimp the bullet, to keep the powder from expanding and pushing the bullet out...
you can run a 200 grain bullet at 2900+ fps... and a 220 grainer in the 2800 to 2850 fps range.

270’s . Either 130 or 140 grain loads. Usually my most accurate loads come from this powder.

There is no H-4831ssc (super short cut), only short cut (sc)
I've used it in .260 Rem, .270 Win, .30-06, .30 Gibbs, .338 Win

I use it in most of the cartridges I load for. Most of my overbore cartridges, and my standard cartridges like the 30-06, 270, etc... and all my magnum cartridges except for my 26 Nosler get it. It may not be the fastest in most of them, but it is consistent, gives me excellent accuracy, gives me a full case, and is very temperature stable.... and the short cut meters very well in my powder measure

243 with 90-100g bullets. 270 with 140-160g. 30-06 and 30-06AI with 165-200g.
Now that RL26 has mostly replaced H4831 in my 270’s I’m trying to find more uses for the 20lbs of H4831 that’s occupying my powder cabinet…..

243 , 30-06 , 300 WM and 300 Weatherby 243 and 30-06 works best with heavier projectiles 243 with 1/10 or 1/8 twists works well with it
While the 300’s seem to work well with 130gr TTSX and up The 200gr SGK works good in the 06 and 300’s with this powder Kenneth

Wow, and I thought it could only be used in the 270 Winchester with 130 grain bullets. Guess I need to buy some more guns.
