Picked this 7mm Remington magnum custom shop 700 ks mountain up in a trade and just don’t really want to jump into loading 7 mag. I think it’s setting in a bell and carlson medalist stock. 24” barrel with a deep sharp bluing. Have not shot it. Don’t know exact round count but with inspection of barrel and bolt face, it appears this rifle hasn’t been shot much. Stock and metal are both in amazing shape. 1100$ to your ffl[Linked Image][Linked Image][Linked Image][Linked Image][Linked Image][Linked Image]

I'm certainly no expert but the stock in the pics looks to be quite thin in the wrist. Could it maybe be something other than a B&C? Maybe a McMillan?

Remington sporter is incredibly similar but based on the stud placement I think it’s a medalist.

You should buy it and confirm. 😉

It originally wore a brown.

I pulled the barreled action, there isn’t a McMillan stamp in the barrel channel. I’m pretty sure it’s a bc, based of pictures of medalists I think 338 and AK are right.

If it was an 06 or a 35 Whelen, it’d have a forever home lol

Maybe if it was still in the brown!

Carbelite has a distinctive pistol grip and more “teeth” on the checkering pattern. It’s pretty unique.

I have a late model B&C Carbolite stock. It is the exact twin to this stock. Checkering, pistol grip and thin wrist. Everything looks exactly the same. You stated you pulled the stock. Did it have an aluminum bedding block? If it didn't it wasn't a Medalist.
