I am hoping that the Republicans can somehow overcome the cheating, fraud, law suits, injunctions, recounts and ballot harvesting about to happen starting next Tuesday, to come up with at least a "majority" in the House - that would be 218 Republicans in the House - one more than you estimated.

VarmintGuy No, you don't need 218, you need more than the other guy. Factor in a possible Independant or two and you can see the possibilities. Perhaps even in liberal states where some people are a little upset at Dems, but would kill their kids before voting Republican, vote Independant. Lots of money to made for those one or two swing voters in the House and a LOT more money to be made in a 50/50 house.

There are 435 members of the United States House of Representatives!
If 218 of them are Republicans then Republicans HAVE would the "mahjoratay" (as maxine "maxi-pad" waters would say it!)!
You see "half" of 435 is 217 1/2 - and if there are 218 Republicans elected to the House of Representatives, then, like I said, the Republicans would have the MAJORITY.
The MOST any other "party/parties" could have would be 217.
"Independents" would NOT be counted as Republicans - never have been, never will!
Sheesh.
I was NOT referring to ANY future voting tally in the House - I was talking/posting about a MAJORITY in the House of Representatives.

Sadly it looks like the number of confirmed elected Republicans is going to be VERY much lower than I had hoped and predicted.
As of Thursday night November 10th it is "standing" on 211 Republicans.
I was busy travelling Hunting all day today and may do some more tomorrow - depending on weather.
Will update the winner tomorrow if not travelling again.
