All right Rog. Good deal. Wish I was tough enough to do that.

I graduated High School in 1970 and I weighed 200 lbs. Back then I was captain of the soccer team, ran 8 miles a day with the cross country team, and did an exercise regimen each morning and each night before I went to bed. 250 four count push ups...250 four count jumping jacks, 250 sit ups and 250 squat thrusts.. then took a shower and went to bed.

Of course I can't do much of that at all today at 70. But when I stood on the scale yesterday morning getting out of the shower, I weighed 194.5 pounds. My weigh hasn't fluxuated much my entire life. Lucky enough for most folks to think I look younger than I actually am...

At 18, my waist had me wear a 36 inch belt line, at 70 36 is too tight but 38 is too lose... usually eat one meal a day... dinner.

I'll probably pass by getting hitting by a bus, standing on a street corner....

back on topic:

Roger, congrats on getting down to your desired weight....

Well done on getting some weight off, it has to both feel better and be easier on the entire system.

As we age, it's for sure tougher to do, but if we are able to not gain too, too much our joints and muscles seem to do better or so I've noticed with friends and family.

All the best to you and your family Roger.

Thanks, Dwayne, at 199 now, want to get down to 185-190, going to start hitting the weights, got to go get them from the storage room.

Good job stx - I'm on a similar path. Just dipped under 200 myself and am now wearing 34's. Mostly kettlebells at moment but working back into some weights as well. I'm trying to get to 180 or at least that's where a doctor told me I should be...

If you want to lose a lot of fat quickly, check out: https://snakediet.com

It free, it's radical and it's based on reconditioning yourself to eat properly. Electrolytes is the key!

I did that a couple of years ago and lost 60 lbs in 3 months and never felt better in my life :o)

I guess those skinny jeans wearing leftist guys with the man buns and nail polish are the models for the weight charts, but there is no way I would be able to get to or stay at 180 lbs without having a limb removed and at 140 lbs I'd look like I spent a winter at Auschwitz.
Yeah according to those charts I should weigh 160, can't imagine that I was 185 when I was in really good shape.
A doctor some years back, called me obese.
Just shy of 6'1" and 196 pounds, 50 + years old.
I asked why he didn't measure my wrists - was told "We don't do that anymore".
I had to tell him I measure 11" around the wrists - have a massive skeletal structure.
He re-iterated "We don't do that anymore." So much for progress in the medical field!

Remsen - maybe it's an average...

I am 6' and if I'm wearing clothes I might hit 150 from the bottom side. Tho when i was imbibing, sometimes I hit 170 and felt like Jabba. I quit and it went away.

And I can't find jeans that fit properly. Apparently they don't make 31/31
or, as my wife refers 31/32. She likes to see my cuffs dragging the ground for some odd reason. First thing to wear out on my jeans, usually (32/32)

Good deal on the weight loss.

I am 6’1” and hoover between 160 and 165, wearing 32” jeans. I am scrawny I guess but it has advantages as well as disadvantages.

Pretty impressive! I'm a 34 too, but I'm only 5'4". A small waist ain't happening! Chest is 47, so at least there is a difference...congratulations. That's a tough thing to do.

At 6'2 195, I'm a 34x38 guy too.
Been low carbing it for over 4 years.
I was 32 when I was younger.
6 pack abs at 62 ain't common..😉

Congratulations Roger, feeling good in your own skin is an amazing thing.
