Looks like he had a good taste!
I butchered a couple of hindqtrs on the bed of my truck Monday evening, Labs acted like they hadn't had a bite of food in a month!

That’s very cool. Mine won’t sit still long enough to deer hunt, and if she sees one, she wants to herd it. She does have potential as a squirrel dog, though. She like to heard them and make sure they stay in the tree. I’ll give her a try after the deer season shooting stops. She is happy when I share the venison, though.

What’s to much deer meat do to them house dogs?😳 House dogs? Hardly. I don't know about over feeding them deer meat either. They may get a few scraps when I process it. Bandit, in particular is trained to hunt and track what I hunt. Deer, hogs, coyotes... whatever. He looks big for a Standard. He is! He's much bigger than Buster was. He weighs about 80 pounds. The 2 male giant pups I have will top over 100 pounds when grown. My older female giant, Bailey, is about 70 pounds.
