Watched a mink run around for 15 mins in front of my stand.
Heard my buds .270 bark about 10 am.
Helped drag out a 174# dressed 9 pointer.

Work. In a meeting for Manufacturing Review for 5 hours. Scheduled for 2 hours.

Otherwise, it was a beautiful day from what I’ve been told.

Nephew final done something on his own, got a 7 point this morning. Kind of shocked me that he put the initiative in it. Proud of him now.

It was good here. Most of the snow melted yesterday. I’m off work through at least Friday but on call for Saturday through Monday with a decent chance of being called in smirk I put up Christmas lights at the mancave. We’ll put up some more at my wife’s house tomorrow. [Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]

Ventured out today
Almost two weeks in hospital and house pussified me to cold and leg strength
Got in woods a little before daylight
Hands and face , breathing , was taxed
Jumped one deer in almost a two mile trek
Exploring new hunting ground
By noon
Wasn’t really expecting to score on a scout , a lot of coughing
But did determine it’s not the honey hole I had hoped for
But upside is I’m getting out and about
Little compact Ruger American was a blessing to carry
Light and really accurate 308
Come on mr deer !
LOL
Kenneth
Covered almost two mile according to pedometer on phone
Nothing great , but beats hell out of length of house
😀

At least you got out, more than most. Some of us were stuck at work and it was a beautiful day.

Had a good day took a 4-wheeler ride and checked cameras. Also cleaned up the plants killed by the freeze in the garden. Turnip, Rutabaga, Carrot & Cabbage still looking good.

Took wife and mother in-law to doctors. Got home walked the property did not see any deer but need to kill some squirrels. Then bought that Winchester M70 that was on here. Was a very good day. And a very nice shed. Got to keep the hay dry
