There’s a difference between Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder
My mother has a daughter who is a textbook example of the latter. Folks always told me she was a “control freak”. Never took it to heart until I saw it full blown

I was maybe 5 years old, and I intentionally walked under a ladder every opportunity I had to do so. As I got into my late teens, I resisted that temptation, so as not to look stupid.
I actually have CDO, It's like OCD but the letters are arranged in alphabetical order, like they're supposed to be.

Known quite a few. (I'm the anti-OCD.) I had a roommate a long time ago that was the "iron my socks" kinda guy. He would really freak out about dishes in the sink.
I threw all of them away except one fork, knife and plate for each of us.
That's when I learned that OCD people don't really care about organization...they just want something to worry about.

I knew a guy who wouldn’t eat the end of the French fry by which HE was holding to put in his face. Little pieces of every French fry left over.
I apologize in advance if I offended anyone making this post. Maybe I’m the only one who eats the whole fry?

I have a brother who has gotten more and more so over the years. Came from my mom’s side of the family. He won’t touch a door knob to save his soul. Only eats food with utensils no matter what and when he signs the credit card receipt he wraps his napkin around the pen. Funniest thing happened awhile ago when he was staying at our house for a weekend. We were watching TV and Chad was eating a huge bag of popcorn when my wife reached in and grabbed a handful. It happened so fast that I couldn’t stop her in time. The look on my brothers face was priceless. Needless to say he was done with the popcorn. I keep telling him to go see somebody before it gets to the point that he can’t function.

All the screws in the face plates of the switches and outlet covers in my house are oriented vertical. Nail clippers, aluminum cross, and buckeye ALWAYS in my left front pocket. When I tuna fished same lures, same rods, same rod holders.
Some things I couldn't care any less about , but some have to be "right". My dad taught me about the vertical screws. If I'm out and about and see one not right, I try to turn it.This^^^indicates a problem?
