Number two son has a pound of H335 purchased during the recent "can't find powder" months. We are hoping to try it out with some 90 gr Swift Scirocco II and with some Hornady 95gr SSTs. Having fits finding data today, laptop is on fritz and cannot navigate new phone worth a darn at Hodgdon site. many thanks.

Hodgdon only shows H335 data for two loads using 58 & 60 grain bullets:

Manufacturer Powder Bullet Diam. C.O.L Grs. Vel. (ft/s) Grs. Vel. (ft/s)
Hodgdon H335 0.243" 2.600" 35.0 3,445 39.0 3,717

Loaddata.com has no .243 data for H335 and 90 or 95 grain bullets.

mrchongo, thank you. We were wondering if it was one of those powders that would not quite fit our need today. It does however seem that a few people have given it high praises when used in .223 and 30-30 so not all is lost, we be using it somewhere. thank you.

Only RL-15 on shelf here at the house tonight. Going to try some IMR4831 and H4350 for starters.

Either flavor of 4831 will work well, and the H4350 might well be the ideal powder for those bullets in 243.

Another source I refer to alot...

https://stevespages.com/243_2_90.html

they are quoting 33 to 35 grains for a 90 grain bullet.

Cooresponds to what Swifty is posing out of the Hodgdon Manual # 26...which is a darn good source...
