While a few will stand up and help fight for their rights, "2nd Amendment", many others will do NOTHING !!!! I encourage all to join OFF, GOA or others and help with your pocket book. It's coming to a your state, if the courts don't stop measure 114.

I hope one of the lawsuits includes taking a long hard look at the signatures and finding out who supposedly vetted them for this to even make it to the ballot.

You can't convince me they supposedly couldn't gather enough signatures to recall K unt Brown (twice), but this just happened to have enough valid signatures to sail through to the ballot.

I guarantee these signatures didn't get the same scrutiny as those for the recalls.

Here is the first ‘full txt’ lawsuit filed on behalf of Oregon Firearms Federation, Sheriff’s Dept, and an individual.

https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/23314494-firearmsfederationlawsuit11182022

This first lawsuit is specifically addressing the 10 round magazine capacity of the law. Other lawsuits will address the training, licensing and permit aspects of 114.

Another separate suit was filed a couple days ago by ‘FPC’ on behalf of gun shop owners.

Feel free to add what you are hearing about additional lawsuits being filed by ‘SAF’ out of Washington State.

Thanks,

State cop bud of mine and his partner were working the State Fair. They had this hot chick come up to them asking if they would sign her 114 petition. Girl said it will reduce suicides by limiting gun ‘clips’ to 10.

They laughed and told the girl to actually read what the petition says. Then walked away.

Federal court already gave the first lawsuit a date, Dec.8th. Good news they are acting quickly, hopefully means they understand the urgency and the unconstitutionality of the law.

I hope one of the businesses impacted by the law files suit against the stupid f**king priest, his church, and every major donor. We need some way to take the fight right back to the a-holes that start this stuff, not just defeating them, but rooting them out. I feel about this the way I feel about false accusations .. the person making the accusation should do the same jail time and pay the same fine that the accused would have if convicted. Instead the bastards just get to circle around next cycle and take another whack at us with slightly different, slightly sneakier language.

Bump to say ‘Thank You’ to everyone who donated money, joined Oregon Firearms Federation, or sent emails to those Oregon companies to support the legal war effort we’re fighting right now in court.
