What a terrible name for a car. The name says it crashes & burns.

Didn't Penelope Pitstop drive one of those?

Hotrod Lincoln made the lifters for it.

In 1949.

After Normandy.

In Greek mythology, Daedalus (UK: /ˈdiːdələs/, US: /ˈdɛdələs/;[1] Greek: Δαίδαλος; Latin: Daedalus; Etruscan: Taitale) was a skillful architect and craftsman, seen as a symbol of wisdom, knowledge and power. He is the father of Icarus, the uncle of Perdix, and possibly also the father of Iapyx. Among his most famous creations are the wooden cow for Pasiphaë, the Labyrinth for King Minos of Crete which imprisoned the Minotaur, and wings that he and his son Icarus used to escape Crete. It was during this escape that Icarus did not heed his father's warnings and flew too close to the sun; the wax holding his wings together melted and Icarus fell to his death.

The great designer didn't think of the Sun's heat or his son's reaction, did he?

Tyrone ... you get that Pharmseller is correct, do you not? The car is named-after the architect himself, not one of the many mythical inventions of which he is credited. Now, had the car been named The Icarus ... you would have a point.

With one of my P320 builds - I used an Icarus Precision grip module.

That's fine. We can agree to disagree. But when I design software, I design it with morons like Icarus in mind. You can't design anything against misuse, but you can design it against improper use.

Maybe that's just how far we've come in design.

BTW, beautiful car I'd love to own. I wonder how much he will be able to sell it for?

It's that kind of thinking that brought us the newer Toyota trucks. Anti-spin, anti-skid, anti-slide, anti-fun4x4 truck. Congrats?

Ha, just yanking your chain.

Jerk away! 😂

A good designer knows sometimes a guy wants to spin wheels until he digs into something solid!

Which reminds me of a funny story.....

I had a 4WD with that inti-skid BS on it. I never touched it, never bothered to figure out what it was. So, I'm driving in a field and get up to these little mounds, like speed humps. Friggin' 4WD get stuck on them, motor automatically cuts every time I tromp on it. I get some friends to push and one of them yells "Do you have traction control? Turn it off!" Oh, so that's what that button is for! I turn it off, tromp it and do a mud rooster tail all over my buddies who were pushing! 😂🤣😂🤣

I'll bet that those involved in its design/build would never call a transmission a "tranny".
