Been looking for a new backpack.... just for everyday use....change of clothes....extra medicine... a few nick-nacks. Check- red oxx makes a quality ruck. Really want something simple but rugged....last forever type quality.....oilskin....canvas...something like that. Check The red oxx is canvas as the op sought and high quality. here is the b!tch.... why does EVERY maker feel the need to add 12 million pockets and damn LAPTOP sleeve? That is all. I cannot quantify the extent of the opâs Bitch about pockets or whether the ruck sack has pockets, my suggestion was along the line of quality.

We were doing a lot of overnight and two night trips this year. I wanted something big enough to carry my stuff, but not a full fledged carry on size suitcase. I bought this one on Amazon. Yeah, itâs Chinese. Yeah itâs embarrassingly âtacticoolâ. Yeah, itâs probably not up for a lifetime if use. But itâs sized perfect for what I want and enough pockets to keep my stuff separated. I even added a MOLLE pouch in each side for eye glasses and cleaner. If this one fails, I might buy a name brand one of similar sizing. Laptop sleeves donât have to be used.
