Does anybody here know what the part # is for the Leupold one-piece scope base needed for a pre-64 M70 chambered in 300H&H?

I can look when I go home at lunch. The only one piece base I have is on that model and chambering.

Sorry I'm not alot of help. I pulled the rifle out and while I could have sworn there were numbers on the base, the only thing on it I could see was an "R" which probably means Redfield. I did put the mike on it and it was 5.45" long. One rear screw, two front screws. I can put some pics in your PM box if you would want them.

I did find this at pre64win.com:

511111 - All rifles with serial numbers below 66,350 (pre-war), except .300 H&H and .375 H&H
511112 - All rifles with serial numbers above 66,350 (post-war), except .300 H&H and .375 H&H
511114 - .300 H&H and .375 H&H magnum rifles with serial numbers above 66,350 (post-war)
511115 - .300 H&H and .375 H&H magnum rifles with serial numbers below 66,350 (pre-war)

Perhaps its of some help

No problem. I'm sorry I sold all of my one piece mounts about 5 months ago. I had a couple H&H magnum Redfields and Leupold mounts. There's not really a difference between the 2. Both good mounts, if that is what you desire. I personally like the 2 piece mounts, but you may have reasons for going with the 1 piece. Their biggest downfall is the windage adjustment screws. Don't gorilla torque those. I've bent them in the past!!!! If you don't need a 1 piece mount, I'd always suggest the 2 piece weavers or Leupold QWR's for an H&H receiver. They are strong and pretty sleek. They don't overhang the receiver, which I personally like. They are also steel and work great on H&H receivers. If you have 2 holes in the rear bridge:

Mine were "junk" too, so I sold them last spring...

I bought this rifle with the one piece on it. The rest of my rifles including a handful of pre64 70's wear two piece mounts which I favor also. Some are Talley, some are Weaver, some are Leupolds, all of them work for me.
