I have a situation I need help with. My youngest son will finally be old enough to hunt Wyoming next year and wants to go on a antelope hunt. My oldest son wants to go too but has a problem with school. Basically he can’t miss more than three days of school due to his honors classes (he’s in high school but takes college classes).

Due to their classes I don’t know what part of the season we will get to hunt. We might be there opening day or might get to hunt the last three days of season.

I am looking for a trespass hunt in a easy to draw unit. Preferably a unit that can be drawn with zero points.

Anyone got any tips or leads to find a trespass hunt?

I called the chamber of commerce and they longer give out land owner list. I called game and fish and they only provide info on the ranches that are on their website.

I’d appreciate any help and feel free to PM me.

Thanks.

Given the constraints, you’re better off hiring an outfitter. And you’ll probably have to move your hunt to 2024.

given the antelope numbers in some of the Easier to draw areas , you may just have to gather points for a year or two and go for an outfitter.

Quotas are set in April or early May, wait to decide then.
Some areas may rebound with a few more tags next year or have tags cut due to lower numbers.
If the price increase goes into affect in 2024, not passed just yet, your odds will be much higher next year with folks burning PPs and getting out.

Lets see what winter does before you apply or choose an area. Plenty of Eastern side areas that can be hunted DIY but access is hard.
Trespass fee hunts are really hard to find now, ranchers outfit themselves or are leased to outfitters. The few left charge a nice amount for antelope now.
