Believe it or not, for his rack size, he wasn’t really a big bodied buck, in my opinion. He looks really great in the August picture, but I’d swear he ran alot of that “corn and soybean-life is good weight” off during the rut. I’ve probably shot 5 big doe, and at least 3 smaller racked bucks in my life that would have surely outweighed him. He must have been “all gut” on the hoof…like a beer belly, only soybeans and corn! 😎

Thanks! After seeing the Sumac Buck revelation…I can assure everybody this is actually my ugly old brother, with the buck my daughter desperately wanted to get, that he shot on Saturday with his Rem. Model 7 .308 stainless that I sold him about 22 years ago, on the rack of my 2019 Can Am Defender HD8 XT. Whew…just sayin. 😎
