That is disappointing news, but as some said, not surprising.
The USA really needs to use Canada’s voting system. You may not get the result you want, but cheating would be next to impossible and the results are known on election night.

The USA really needs to use Canada’s voting system. You may not get the result you want, but cheating would be next to impossible and the results are known on election night. Federalizing elections is not better. Sending more power and control to Washington and expecting that the electors will do better if it was just a few more their tribe is the problem. The centralization of power in DC expecting elected to fairly divvy up the spoils is killing the country.
