It was just reported on the Atlanta news that there has been a theft of absentee ballots (for the run-off) stolen from a post office. Gee, I wonder who they will show up for on the 6th. The Warnock fix is in.

Assuming these ballots were to be mailed out and not completed ballots, the "thief" must have a valid photo ID and signature for each ballot - which is not very likely. Also, those who requested an Absentee ballot and didn't receive it will most likely notify their elections office just as they did in Cobb county for the last election. But that wasn't due to theft, it was just the incompetence of the Cobb country election office.

They see, over and over again, how overt election stealing results in no one facing any consequences, and their candidates being awarded the victories, so they are emboldened to take it a notch or two further the next time.
