We have a couple fast food joints around here that pay almost $20/hour to start. That's a lot of money for a kid's job. And still no one wants to work.

Sphincter be damned.

Very seldom eat fast food, or out at all, but I much prefer Sheetz, Wawa, or stuff from the Costco counter over anything from the usual suspects. Was eating at Jimmy Johns while dealing with my father’s stuff on the Eastern Shore a couple of years ago too. Pretty good, but they closed up.

They might be paying $15-$20 for working fast food, but I wouldn’t want that job either.

the local gas station actually has some really good chicken tenders

summer of 2020 a 12 piece box was $10.99, its $18.99 now

We hit Arby's maybe once every 2 months around here - I like their French Dip and they have a buffalo chicken slider. That is dinner when my wife and I can't think of anything else to make. I think I like to order the French Dip just so I can say "make sure you give me the jew sauce with it!"

I still go occasionally but the tater cakes were the main reason I went there. From what I can tell the cakes were very popular and nobody can figure out why they dropped them.

4 for $5.00

And now

2 for $7.00

Sheesh! They don’t even have to put a bunch of crap on them.

I think there was a 5 for 5.95 in there somewhere too.

We often hit the 2-5 happy hour at Arby's. The kids like a slider and a snack sized shake. Used yo be $1 each during happy hour but now there $1.39. It's that 8 % inflation Biden be pushing.

Hardee's have raised their prices today, a "senior coffee" went from .75 to $1.29 along with other menu prices. I guess it's to be expected when they have to pay behind the counter zombies $15/hr. to get them to work !
