my sweet spot is dogs in the 40-60 pound range.

not a fan of lap dogs and don't want a dog that you have to clean up their schit with a shovel.

I like other people having big dogs though. They just seem friendlier.

About 75 pounds.

A recreation of the Old English Bulldog, a project started in the early 1970s.

Jax is an Anatolian/ Great Pyrenees mix. 11 months old as of a couple days ago, and at least 100 pounds. He might get as big as Jim’s dog, so between him and his brother that’s a few pounds lighter, the bears and lions just might look for easier pickings.

Guessing our mastiff is around 130-140.

Lost some weight a few weeks ago when he had some seizures. Looks like he got it back and then some.

Our smallestis8 pounds. Dog I just rescued Sunday. Little pup of unknown heritage.

Pattie Labelle, the singer, was afraid of her own Boerboel, so hired Cesar Millan to help her.

My dog is nowhere in the running for biggest. 45 pound mini-Aussie German shepherd mix. Too smart for her own good. We go to a dog park though, and there’s a 7 month old Great Dane that goes about 140 or so, has no idea how big she is. Gotta keep your knees bent around her or she’ll try to turn you into a flamingo.

My Newfoundland, Buster, might have been a contender but he is no longer with me. 180 lbs and 32" at the shoulder in his prime. One of the best dogs I've ever had.

Delilah, a Fila Brasileiro, she is about 140. They were originally bred in Brazil to hunt down runaway slaves. Bloodlines of Mastiff, Bulldog, and Bloodhound.
They cannot be socialized, but are very loving and submissive to the owner. She is a great dog, but people fear her. Wise idea.

We also have a Mastiff..... he is bigger yet

Dang! How do you feed these monsters?! My 65 pound Lab seems like a big dog to me. For whatever reason, most of my dogs end up in the 40 to 50 lb range (Boykin Spaniels, Pit Bulls, mutts etc.). I justify having more dogs since they don’t eat as much. laugh

Anything 80+ seems "big" to me. I'd hate to feed one of those 150lb pups.

Now with even more aplomb
