Got your flys today. Four more contestants and it'll be post office time.

It's the 25th. I've got one more coming. You all comfortable waiting, or would you like to pick a day to turn these around. I've got some nice flys here.

Don't forget to test-drive each fly as 'quality control'. grin

Won't have open water within 100 miles for another month. I can stand to wait a bit. 1Minute

My water's frozen over so to do a "test drive" will have to involve a drive to the pet aquarium.

I'm in one of those moods. I drove a sliver of wood under my thumbnail 3/4 of the way in. I had to have my Aunt yank it out while I bit down on a carrot. Hurt! Bleed! Disinfect- Hurt Some More! Now I'm a ball of adrenaline.

If the walking didn't hurt, the cutting holes with chainsaws to make wet spots surely did. wink

We will have solid water for at least a couple months and many spots we fish will not open until June...

I think June is realistic for the spot I took M and AK to last year with all the snow in the high country. May have to borrow a snowmobile and throw a float tube on the back.

If a bunch of big trout are splashing around in a feeding frenzy but nobody is there to hear it, does it really make a sound? smile

Kinda reminds me of the great question "What is the sound of one tippet popping?"

As Riley said when I told him of my penchent for Maxima "tippet" style hooksets when we were fishing..."Pop, don't you remember how many flies you ALWAYS leave in fish?" And then the clincher for him "Remember the Gulkana?"

I seem to have a history with him, too... wink

Hooray, the last flys are here and I'm writing out labels! They'll go out in the morning. Thanks all.

Whoops, I'm still one short - Working on it.

The package I got yesterday, little bead head stones was from Helena Montana. Let me know who sent them so I can stop trying to figure it out.
