.380 ACP cartridge with a lead truncated cone bullet. Head stamp depicts ".380 ACP" and on the opposite side of the head a single star. Any idea who manufactured the round?

It was an incredibly popular cartridge in Europe long before it caught fire here. That's a big search. Wonder if the bullet is linotype?
