I do have a doe tag however. Forgot to mention the guns/loads. The Thanksgiving buck was taken with a Tikka T3x in the dreaded 6.5 Creedmoore, with a Barnes 127 grain LRX and IMR 4350. Velocity out of the 24" barrel averaged 2676 fps. Distance 30 yards. Today's buck was taken at about 35 yards with my 24" Encore in 7mm-08, 120 grain Barnes TTSX, H414 powder, velocity 2998 fps.

Congrats on two fine bucks, in 60yrs. of deer hunting I've never shot a deer with a round of factory ammunition, always used my own handloads.
