Good afternoon, For your consideration a Smith & Wesson 629-5, 3” Unfluted. This revolver is very clean, action/lockup is great. Original manual but no box. Weaver mount (don’t ask me why), combat grips and hogue grips, speed loader, and nylon el cheapo holster. I’m no expert but believe these to be a relatively unique variant. Thanks jpterry! From what I dug up on the web I believe you’re correct. A call to S&W confirmed production year was 1998, but that’s as much as I was able to learn. Customer service rep suggested SW Historical Foundation for further diggings. I think a membership is required however for their services

Ugly as they might be, these full sized steel guns shoot well with Hogue grips.
I’m shocked this is still here.
