Yesterday at 8:20am I got the email notice from Midway USA that it was “In Stock”.
Didn’t see the notice until 8:40am when I checked my email.

I immediately checked Midway and it was already showing “Temporarily Unavailable”🙁

Anybody get lucky?

I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.

I fell blessed……and cursed at the same time. I bought an 8 pounder about 4 or 5 years ago (blessed)…..as yet unopened (cursed)! 🤬 memtb

memtb,

I’d be happy to do you a favor by relieving you of that curse since it’s obvious(still being unopened) you don’t need it.😁

I sincerely appreciate your offer to relieve me of my misery…..but, there’s a chance (however slim) that I may open it one day! 😉 memtb

Think the notification was done in error, I received several for other components over the last week and then an apology from Midway. My feeling RL26 won’t be in the states until the late summer at the earliest.

I scored a couple years ago - split a 12 lb order of 26 with a buddy. I'd love to find some 23 - been along time since I've seen any.

Shopping when Trump was in the White House, and it was both available and a lot cheaper than you can get it for now...

but Yeah, I'm sitting good for both RL 26 and RL 23..... and AR Comp to boot.

Planning ahead and figuring democRATS will be back in the White House eventually, because we have a lot of idiots in this country,
and buying when it was in stock and on the shelves, pays a lot of dividends.....

JGray,

Too bad we aren’t closer….I’d trade you some RL23 for some 26.🙁

I got a can a while back since it was reported to be beyond belief in the 270.

I did not find the magic of RL26 in my 270.

Man, I wished you were closer! I'd gladly trade any number of powders to add that to my batch! HA!

Regarding RL26, I originally purchased it to try in my 7mm Rem Mag(Win. Model 70)after hearing how good it was with 150s and 160s in 7mm.

I got great velocity in my 7 mag but accuracy wasn’t acceptable…3 shot groups at 2.5” @ 100 yds.🙁

Then tried it with 140 Accubonds in my 270 Win(Win. Model 70). Velocity was fantastic and accuracy too.

After a little research I tried RL23 in the 7mm and presto!!!….great accuracy and great velocity!

I’ve seen RL26 exactly one time in the last 2+ years and I bought 2lbs, I wish now I would have bought the 8lb jug they had.

I bought four pounds of Reloader 26 several years ago.It worked really great in my 7mag and more recently I have been really impressed with my results in my 30-06's with 180 and 200gr bullets.I was just about out on a container I was using and checked my supply and I found I had two pounds left.I thought I had only one left so I was happy that I found two,so I'm still good for awhile.I have been using it sparingly since it's been unavailable, but I'd sure buy an 8 pounder if I had the chance.I guess with the wars and rumors of wars the European powder market is probably contracted out to the military.

I’ve had great success with 7 mag and 30-06 as well. I have several other options to use but I keep going back to RL26. 2900 fps with 180 partitions in 30-06 and 3000 fps with 180 eldm in 7 rem mag both with great accuracy. I’m thankful to have 10-12 lbs yet

I've got 4-5 pounds of rl26 but I'd love to find an 8 pounder or 4 of h1000 and retumbo. I guess I'm just a fan of tge Australian made stuff. I've got to have 8208xbr, H4350, h4831sc, H1000, and retumbo. The last two have been almost impossible to find. I've been able to find some h4350 and h4831sc lately.

I don't know what's going on with the RL stuff. I've got a few pounds of rl16 and rl23 too but I'm afraid to try it because I might like it and not be able to get more. Like the imr enduron stuff. Just started to like it and they discontinued it. I was glad to get rid of my rl19, rl22, and rl25 but still like rl15 and rl17 and keep a good stash of those. RL33 gets good speeds in my 28 nosler but seems really dirty and a bit inconsistent. RL26 does get some awesome speeds in some rounds. My 6.5 swede thought it was a prc on rl26.
