I had one a few years. Shot a few deer with it and very thankfully moved on to much better things.
Pros
- very light, slick handling and well balanced
- very short throw... I could work mine with my hand still on the stock wrist.
- the rotary mags are handy, never had a hiccup with one
Cons
- pretty spectacularly inaccurate... paper plate group shooter @100yds.
- kicked like a mule on meth compared to other 44 Mag levers I've shot. The buttplate is basically the same as the one as on a 10/22, so the recoil is very stabby. Imagine taking the point of a phillips screwdriver, sticking it up to your shoulder, then whacking it with a hammer every time you pull the trigger.

Overall I was not a big fan. I had a 96/22 in the same timeframe as well. That one was acceptably accurate, but it went back to Ruger several times for various issues before I finally got rid of it.
