VERY NICE superlights! If you would ever decide to part with them let me know smile

I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

Thanks, they are pretty slick and fast handling.

The most interesting of the lot is the bottom one. Here's a LONG link explaining what it is and the provenance.

Added photos of the M-21.

I like 28's. The 1100 has a dull, field finish. Not that pretty but a real dove gun.

The Merkel has solid rib, 27" barrels and handles really nice. It's not as ugly as the 1100.

I was looking for my Cody letter. Serial number is 140XX.

IIRC it's a '56 model, has the Custom checkering pattern, patterned Sk 1 and Sk 2.

It fits me perfectly and is a keeper.

Don’t be telling them that. May hurt their feelings.

A nice gun can also be a tool.....And scratches are easily fixed. Makes little sense to have something and not use it. If not, it becomes little more than clutter. You know the old line about life being too short to hunt with an ugly gun..... wink

Of course ugly is relative...

These aren't as pretty as those before, but have been in my collection since I inherited them. The 2 Ithaca 10's are both 3 1/2. One is a NID and the other is a conversion (I know it may not be safe) but my GF shot a lot of geese with these back in Arkansas where he grew up. My dad shot the NID about 30 years ago on a turkey hunt. They both need wheels:)

Love that damascus twist steel.

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....
