Leaving in the morning for the annual trip to the western end of the state to hunt ducks with a buddy. Hope to be in the blind Friday and Saturday. Any ducks moving?
Weather does not look promising. Rising barometer. Sunny. Windy. Only break is that the temps should be dropping a little...

Not that far west but the Camden unit in TN is not killing anything but time.
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

This front should push some bird down. We will be in Arkansas chasing ducks a month from now. Let us know how you do.

Ducks were flying the first day. Not so much the second day. Regardless, a good time was had by all... Day1... Day2... Was not able to go last couple years. Finally got to use the Menefee for intended purpose... A view from the blind... Good luck to all y'all going in January...

Thanks for the update. Glad to see you got a few birds. The view from the blind is a classic. We took a couple woodies on our pond here in N.C. this morning. They were the Lab pup’s first ducks.

Buddy's uncle will occasionally show up with a dog. AMAZING to watch a well trained dog work the ducks. Good luck with your pup!

I've been getting pics the last 4 days. Lots of ducks dying. Southern MO, NE Arkansas, west TN and NW Mississippi. Big bunches of green heads hanging.
