Going to roll with 130 partition and 129lrx I currently have. 150’s are hard to find. I can’t imagine either of those options letting you down. I’ve taken 2 Elk with the 130 partition with no fuss whatsoever & the LRX is only more of a good thing.

I don't use factory ammo, but I handload for a .270 wcf with a 19" barrel, a 22" and 24" barrel. My handloads on the 19" barreled .270 approach 3000 fps with 129 Lrx's and 130 SST's. It barks a tad but very doable. I have nothing suppressed.

I shoot a few barrels in the 16"-18" range on my TC Encore. Whatever load yields the highest velocity in the long barrel will yield the highest velocity in the shorter barrel. I have a 22" barreled .260 Remington Ruger M77 MkII and an 18" barreled MGM .260 Encore barrel. Oddly enough, they both have the same preferred load - 129 gr. Hornady Interlock with 44 gr. IMR 4350. The 22" barrel yields 2850 fps. The 18" barrel yields 2650 fps, as the 50 fps per 1" of reduced barrel length guideline would suggest.
