Came into a real interesting situation. Have in my possession a Matlin 336 in a 30-30. Owner estimates he purchased this lever gun in 1972. Has the original box of Federal 30-40, 170 grain cartridges which has 16 unfired rounds in the box. Claims this was fired four times. Rifle is pristine. No scratches, rust, nicks, nothing.
What would be the estimated value of this rifle? BTW, long time member and forum poster. MTG

1972 shows S/N beginning with '72'
