Yep. When I was a little kid in the 1960s and 1970s, schools had us reading pieces about the coming Ice Age if we didn't get a handle on pollution.

What began as an attempt to merely dampen our productivity and comfy lifestyle has evolved, beginning I think with Al Gore’s entry into the fray, into a giant money-sucking scam, with ever-increasing demands on the U.S. to cough up piles of bucks to compensate the rest of the world for all the “damage” we’ve done, while letting China, India, and other “developing countries” off the hook entirely.

Any other time, calling China a developing country would be considered an insult, but they’ll let that go if there’s enough money involved.

I think raising taxes some more to combat this global warming and cooling will solve the issue.

I remember that. In my 7yo brain I was excited at the chance to hunt woolly mammoths.

I saw something a while back that showed the climate predictions by the experts. They were something like 0 for 50.

Listening to a call-in radio show, The Hudson's Bay Company had their factors keep weather records.

There were wide swings in the weather going back as far as the late 1800's.

We all have notedness it's always about more taxes.

I don't deny the climate is constantly changing.

I don't accept someone blaming me for it.

If man could change the weather, he would have figured out a way to monetize and weaponize it by now.

Climate change is real. It happens all the time. North America (and most of Europe) has been, several times, completely covered over with ice, and then had it withdraw all the way back to the Arctic. North America was almost entirely tropical for a long period of time, too, as was most of Europe. All these things occurred without the input of industrial humanity.
