My wife was in an a fit when I gave our daughters fiance a 1970 Kabar new in the box stock man pocket knife for Christmas. She said you shouldn't give stuff you already have. I say she's full of sch it he was happy

I gave my MIL's husband my used dewalt battery powered set, He has always wanted one and I'm converting to one battery, do the 18 volt package is out, and he was very happy. I doubt he'll ever use it but at any age, "boys will be boys.......".
